Blogmas DAY 10: Nails & BIRCHBOX 2

M&S Calendar Day 10

Another day, another nail varnish. If any of you guys read yesterdays post, you would have read that I am not that into nail varnishes. Although they are useful to have, I only use Gel on my nails as normal nail varnish doesn't even last a day on me!

Todays nail varnish is from NailsInc in the colour Piccadilly Court which is actually a really lovely colour and a shade that i would definitely wear this time of year. This is from their Gel One Coat range so is great if you're in a hurry and want to add a quick coat of colour and I expect it dries quite quickly too. This retails for £13, which I actually think is a little pricey for this sized bottle.

ANDDDDDD My December BirchBox came today!! I was super excited to open this! I love the colours of the box as its Christmassy but not too much so, so it can be on display all year round if you like having your BirchBox's either stacked up or used as storage. The only downside is that this box isn't in the drawer style so you can't stack it up with the previous boxes onto of each other as i have seen a lot of people doing.

When you open the box up there are a couple of leaflets with info about the products but more excitingly, there is a super cute drawstring bag. I love the different ideas that Birchbox come up with every month on how they present the different products and this one is definitely my fave!

Okay, so onto the products themselves. The first thing I saw was the Benefit Hoola Zero Tanlines. I love benefit products and I actually squealed with excitement as I pulled this one out the bag. Ive not tried this particular product before but I love their Hoola bronzer so I'm sure this is going to be amazing. There have been very mixed reviews on this product, some saying they can't get on with it at all and some saying its amazing so it'll be interesting to see what I think of this one. There has only been one tan that I have loved and that is the St.Moriz mousse. This Benefit one is supposed to be super easy to use as it comes with a mini sponge although I like using a mitt over my whole hand so I have a little more control with the product.
This product retails for £19.50 for 147ml.

The next product is from a brand that i haven't heard of before. Its called an Eyelighter and its by a brand called LAQA & CO which is an american brand. I'm not sure if this is a full sized product as it doesn't have the size written anywhere on it; but it retails for £9.50. This looks super easy to use and is a perfect size to pop in your make-up bag or purse on a night out. I think I'm going to love this product.

I have needed a new liquid eyeliner for some time now and I get two in the space of a few days! At least I can compare them I suppose. This product is Fierce Flicks eyeliner by Ciaté. This is a lot better size that the Eyeko liner I got the other day as it is a full sized product worth £15.

Next product is a hair product from Percy & Reed, it is their Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm. This is supposed to have these benefits; adds moisture, boosts shine, aids smoothness, adds definition, softens strands, protects against humidity, increases manageability, and speeds up styling. I obsessed with the Josh Wood oil at the moment so i think ill wait a while before giving this one a go. This retails for £18 for 75ml making this sample size worth about £7.20.

And lastly is a matte-finish moisturiser which i believe is for oily skin as it says it controls oiliness and shine while hydrating the skin and also controlling breakouts. This product is from Amie Naturally Kind. This brand use a lot of organic and natural ingredients in their products and actually have a very low price band. This moisturiser retails for £4.95 for 100ml! That is such a bargain if you want a good product but don't like paying high prices.

I am so looking forward to trying all of these products and I think I'm going to love them!
